THE HISPANIC CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
OF PALM BEACH COUNTY PRESENTS:
THE 3RD ANNUAL LATIN AMERICAN FOOD AND WINE FESTIVAL AT MAINSTREET AT MIDTOWN ON OCTOBER 18, 2012

The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach County will once again transform Mainstreet at Midtown into a “Calle Mayor” celebrating cuisine and culture at the 3rd Annual Latin American Food and Wine Festival on October 18, 2012. More than 25 popular local restaurants will offer Latin-inspired food and beverage choices while guests enjoy live entertainment.

Palm Beach County selected the 3rd Annual Latin American Food and Wine Festival as an “official event” surrounding the final debate of the 2012 Presidential Election, scheduled at Boca Raton’s Lynn University on October 12, with local, national, and international media mingling alongside festival-goers in a Latin American-style street party. New features of this year’s event include the Silver Platter and People’s Choice Award Competitions, in which local celebrities and attendees judge participating restaurants on the basis of palate appeal, presentation, hospitality, and display décor.

The 3rd Annual Latin American Food and Wine Festival, sponsored by Mainstreet at Midtown, will also introduce attendees to the latest vintages from up-and-coming winemaking regions of Chile, Argentina, Brazil, and even Spain. Some of the world’s top cigar-makers will be plying their age-old trade, hand-rolling their finest. Guests may even join Palm Beach County’s longest Conga line or dance the evening away with Salsa, Merengue, and Tango demonstrations. “We particularly enjoy the street party atmosphere and entertainment organized by the Hispanic Chamber,” says Belle Forino, Marketing Coordinator for Mainstreet at Midtown. “We are thrilled to once again play host to an event celebrating Latin American culture.”

Tickets purchased prior to the event are $30 per person and include event access, a wide variety of food and drink tastings, and a commemorative wine glass with tray. Ticket price increases to $40 after October 1st. Free garage parking is available. Mainstreet at Midtown is located at 4801 PGA Boulevard, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33418.
